Instructions for Applying a Whitening Gel Pen to Teeth with the Petal Whitening Light

Materials Needed:

  •  Whitening gel pen

  •  A mirror

  • Tissues (optional)

PRO TIP: it’s best to whiten your teeth just before you sleep.

Steps:

1. Prepare Your Teeth:

 - Brush and floss your teeth to remove any plaque and debris.

- Ensure your teeth are dry before applying the gel. You can blot your teeth with a tissue or simply let them air dry for a few seconds.

2. Twist the Whitening Pen:

- Twist the base of the whitening pen (or follow manufacturer instructions) to dispense a small amount of gel onto the brush applicator.

3. Apply the Gel:

- Smile widely to expose your teeth.

- Use the pen's brush to paint a thin layer of gel evenly across the surface of each tooth you want to whiten. Focus on the front teeth, as these are most visible. Keep that wide smile going, and avoid having your lips touch your teeth after the whitening gel has been applied.

4. Let the Gel Dry:

- Turn on your Petal Whitening Light, and insert into mouth while keeping your lips away from your teeth.

5. Wait for the Whitening Process:

- After applying the gel and inserting the light, keep in mouth with the light on for 10 minutes. Once the light turns off, remove the Petal Whitening Light from your mouth, and rinse your mouth with water to remove gel.

- Do NOT eat or drink while using the Petal Whitening Light.

7. Post-Treatment Care:

- Rinse your mouth with water after removing your Petal Whitening Light, and avoid foods and drinks that could stain your teeth, such as coffee or red wine for 30 minutes after.

- Rinse the mouthpiece of the Petal Whitening Light with water until saliva and gel residue has been cleared. If using soap to clean the mouthpiece, you may use a mild dish soap.

Important Tips:

- Avoid applying the gel to your gums, as it can cause irritation.

- Store the pen in a cool, dry place, away from children when not in use.

- Results may vary depending on the strength of the gel and how often you apply it.

Frequency of use:

Apply twice per day for up to five days in a row.

To maintain best results apply once a day, or as required.

Storage:

Avoid sunlight and keep in cool place.

Shelf life: 24 months

Charging your Petal Whitening Light:

Your Petal Whitening Light will flash a red light when it needs charging.

Use the charging cord, and connect to a USB wall base or wall outlet.
Attach to the charging tip to the back of your Petal Whitening Light device. When charging, there will be a solid red light. When fully charged, the light will be a solid blue color.

Charge overnight or for 4-5 hours for a full charge.
